I thought it looked very fake and CGI but apparently there was at least some actual explosion detonated for the movie. Here’s an interesting article with an interview of the home owner

Still looked incredibly fake and CGI enhanced to me

It did look fake, very fake. And, how would he get into this guy's house, but also he would have had to have had little bombs all throughout the house for all the windows and doors to start throwing flames at the same time. Just a bad movie all the way around.

How would he get into the banks he robbed? I guess getting in the guy's house was much easier.

You should try watching movies to enjoy them. It makes it a lot more fun.
