artsy film with not enough substance to it in my opinion.
I literally wrote a whole paragraph but then just decided to erase it and type
"meh"
There was plenty of substance. You must not know art house very well. The story kept you on the level of the character aka 1st person narrative. Which some find complicated as they like the story told as a story already evolved. So please do not take that as an insult, not meant that way. The director is like a really the better version of Diablo Cody, my opinion. They did not over due it with the relationship thing, which yes audiences like, but not relative to the story. I thought it was well done.
shareI really loved this movie. The ending didn't disappoint and the story had a good flow. I wasn't sure what to expect which was so good to find in a movie anymore. I wouldn't have even watched this movie had it not starred Jessica Biel. She was perfect (as usual) as well as the star of the movie (don't know her name). I gave it 8 stars which was well-deserved.
