This movie isn't bad, it's just a sign of the times

People don't like emotional music because it's too "cheesy/dorky" and people don't like movies about true love and magic for the same reasons. We live in a world where Kanye West is king because of how "bad" and "cool" he is. This movie is a gem despite its small shortcomings. It moved me, and quite a few people I know to tears. I think one day when this current fad of being flakey wears off, society will embrace it as a cult classic. Just such a beautiful story. The book is better of course, but this is a worthy adaptation.
