Have read the book of this woman's life _she is buried in Bagdahd_ and worked on division of the Arab countries after WWI. Don't know why it has taken so long to make a film of extraordinary woman's life. Recommend reading the book of the same title! How the area is in the mess it is!

There are actually 2 good biographies of Gertrude Bell: 1) Desert Queen by Janet Wallach and 2) Gertrude Bell: Queen of the Desert by Georgina Howell. Both recommended for historical accuracy and well-rounded biographical stories.
