She has a passion for "big" roles but I can't help finding really ridiculous her playing a 24 year old girl... I have never been a particular fan of her acting, but since she ruined her facial expressions with numerous plastic surgeries, she just cannot deliver her part naturally and authentically. Aging is inevitable - one should face it with grace and dignity and maybe it will help in acting, too.
shareI thought she was really radiant and charismatic in this. The most watchable thing about it, along with costumes and cinematography. She was pretty good in The Paperboy, Paddington and Before I Go To Sleep, even though that movie failed as a whole. Surgery and all, she can still deliver with the right director and role.

Agreed. Now its 2018 so I am posting 2 years after the post above... See Kidman in Big Little Lies. ,,,On HBO. Shes a fine actress but this movie was too tedious, and painstaking for her..

Can't agree. I find her a wonderful actress and her age disappears for me in her portrayal. I find her mesmerising on screen but I know people who can't stand her. She certainly is polarising. I for one can't stand Betty Davis. Similar type of actress, some hate or love. No room for ambivalence.
