Responsible for Bryce dying, i mean he did break his leg and Bryce died by drowning because his leg was broke and he wasn't able to swim.
It just baffled me Zach was able to go in there and confess what he did and because when he left Bryce he was still breathing the cops let him go. So he suffers no consequences for assault and battery?
No because it leaves reasonable doubt when the jury finds out during a murder trial
shareThe fact that he was there right around the time that Bryce was killed and was the one who assaulted Bryce should have been at least an accessory charge I would think. I mean, they were ready to ship Clay up the river for much less than that. Here an autopsy shows a clean arm and leg break on a person who drowned along with a hole in the back of his head and they let the kid who confesses to assault and battery go because those aren't the injuries that killed him?
