Book was better

I don't mean to be one of those guys, but the book the show was based on was definitely better (yes it was based on a book that came out in 2007). It was more focused as it was only told through Clay's POV and Hannah from the tapes. The book didn't have any of the subplots the show inserted. It kept it simple and was a lot less vulgar. Too much focus was placed outside of the tapes and they could have gotten into the backstory of the characters in the next season for those who cared.
