Better then King of Kong! whats your do u thinK?

I think this was as good or even better then King of Kong, I actually re watched king of kong, after this movie. Its a little more drama building up in king of kong, more of the good and bad guy stuff. But i think this one is more real.....what do u think?

The thing I loved about this movie was how 2/3 of the movie was setting Thor up to come off like Billy Mitchell. I kept expecting him to be this arrogant, compulsive liar, trying to brag about fake achievements just to show how relevant he still is. Then we actually meet Thor and he becomes the highlight of the movie. He was extremely modest, going as far as saying Jonas was the best player he had ever seen, he clearly was playing in the tournament to have fun, and then at the end proves (in a non-douche way) that he really was capable of the things he claimed. He seems like a guy that has had a hard life, but has taken it in stride. By the end I was rooting for the him.

All in all great documentary. Lot of fun to watch.

Perfectly described it. Well done.

I agree, and I kinda love it for that.

-It's dark for everyone, moron!
-Not for Alaskans...

Billy Mitchell actually proved he was capable of doing what he claimed too. it just wasn't in the documentary.

I've never seen King Of Kong, but this movie made me realize that if you clear 4 lines at once that's called Tetris. Now I do it all the time when I play Tetris. Before I was good but just never did it. My goal use to be, clearing up space and not stacking and risking game over.

Now I can get Tetris like 2 or 3 times in a row. I want to get up to 7 times in a row like them, but it's difficult. All of them are truly Tetris champions, this was an enjoyable movie.

The movie does send the message of needing to be a well rounded person. You can't just sit around playing Tetris all day without a real job. Of course you can make games a huge hobby or a short time job. What you shouldn't do is make it the only thing you care about.

Of course you can't just sit around playing tetris all day, that would get boring. The key is to break up playing sessions with bouts of getting high!

Nah, the pure eccentricity of Billy Mitchell and the childish rivalry between them all made King of Kong superior to this.

You are absolutely right.

Yes, this was beautiful -- near perfection. Admirably, the makers did not seek to assassinate character or to stir up conflict in seeking drama or tension and as a result have made a superlative film. It made this film, as you say, much "more real". Wonderful.
