All these men desire this incredibly unattractive

Woman. Sorry she has no figure and her face has aged badly. Helen Mirren is still sexy. Ally Walker is most definitely........not. That Walt would. Hide her over Vic is an aberration of the highest order.

reply

Walt is a traditional kind of guy. He waited til marriage with his wife, and he wanted to wait at least a while with the doc. That means he is not thinking his second head.

Also, HE views Vic as a daughter-type, not a love interest. Vic's obsession with him is odd, to say the least.

reply

Vic possibly has a thing for older guys. He's 17 years older than her which is not a huge age difference. Ally just looks really bad and older than Walker. But yes I guess Walt is just to traditional to date someone much younger than him.

reply

Meant Ally is older than Walt in real life.

Vic acts all stalkerish and weird/creepy with her obsession with Walt. The definition of weird/creepy is her digging through his bin to get info on who he's seeing, always butting into his personal life with inappropriate personal questions, harassing him verbally with her obsession while he totally ignores her being crazy and is focused on work, kissing him while he's helpless, unconscious in the hospital bed unable to have a say about it (imagine if Donna did that, how much bashing she would get for it), creepily trying to see him getting changed in the next room and then just entering the room to dress her boss, so inappropriate and creepy. I don't like that side of her, she should be fired, not to mention committed to a psych ward, maybe Donna can help her with her issues. ;)

I agree with your view that Walt sees Vic as a daughter. So, did the way the series ended bother or disappoint you? It sure did me.

reply

I was OK with it.

The ending intimated more was to come in Walt's story.

I can also put it this way...it was a better series ending than the Sopranos.

Now, that was a crappy ending.

What *beep* show are you guys watching? Where did you get 17 years? Ally Walker's character was an horrific she-devil of epic proportions but the actress is not ugly. Put the bong down and pass it to the right, dude.

Of course he wants Vic, and he sure doesn't think of her as a daughter.

I'll be anxious to watch the rest of the season to see how they are together.

And lets hope there are a couple of seasons. At least 10.

reply

Ten seasons would be 😍 😍 😍 Let's hope there will be 10!

Interesting analysis and one I agree with.

Yes, Ally Walker the person is an attractive lady but Donna the character is not in the sense of her personality. Physically, it is understandable why Walt would be attracted to her. Frankly, she looks like an older Vic or Katee Sackhoff. It is logical.

I am not a fan of the Donna/Walt pairing. It is not to say that I would mind Walt being paired with someone other than Vic. Well, I guess I would mind, but I am just opposed to Donna. They are not simpatico and season 5 did an excellent job of showing how they were not compatible. So much so, that Walt wanted to "wait" to have sex. That is a clear indicator that he was just not into her as they say.

The sexual tension between Walt and Vic was astronomical this season and for the first time, I thought, was off the charts from Walt. He was flirty and cute in seasons 1 and 2 with serious hints of affection in season 3 (population 25/harvest) but this season it's like he actually saw Vic for the first time. That kiss really did wake sleeping beauty's eyes and revealed to him the feelings that have been suppressed and dormant.

I'm not understanding the pregnancy storyline but it did make me more empathetic toward Vic. My fear is that it is being used as a device to keep Walt and Vic apart for much longer than necessary. My other fear is that once Walt and Vic do get together I will be disappointed because they waited too long.

For me, Walt and Vic, would not be a show killer but would perpetuate the series another five seasons just based on the possibilities of these two together. They are fascinating characters independent of each other and certainly with each other. Especially now that Vic is back on track.

i was pleased to see walt and donna realize that it wasn't meant to be, and for him to admit that he felt something with vic's kiss. but i agree, her pregnancy storyline, and surprising chemistry with travis is frustrating timing-wise, just as she and walt might have worked something out.

walt came out, with a bottle, looking for her, but she wasn't there.

reply

I am up to Ep. 8 new season, so not up on the Vic/Travis story, but her pregnancy storyline is the stupidest idea yet.

reply

just as all hell is going to the handbasket for walt, travis is redeeming himself this season. weirdness!

reply

17 years older than Vic. Maybe your comprehension skills have faltered due to that bong. Give it up now dude.

reply

Yes, 17 years. Taylor was born in '63, Sackhoff in '80.

reply

They're both horrific looking.
Katee 'ripyour' Sackhoff looks like a tranny.

reply

Would rather have seen him with Lizzie, who was wildly more attractive and interesting than either of Doc or Vic.

reply

I don't get it either. She is very old looking but then I don't think they are looking at her face.

reply

I agree she looks very old and harsh. I guess they are just horny and would get off on rubbing against a chair leg but I never understood the appeal of her.
