Director - no wait, casting - should have know IMMEDIATELY that Peter O'Brien CANNOT do an American accent and made his character Australian. You have got to be joking with this crap!

But OTHERWISE, this is a thoughtful film, kind of clumsy in parts but resolves nicely and sensitively done where it counts.

Just logging on to say this same thing. My ears bled every time he, his son and his wife tried to pretend they spoke American. I don't understand why they just didn't play Aussies? It wouldn't have changed the plot in the slightest.
