How did I miss this?!

Was trolling through one of those "300 zombie movies I have watched" pages and trying to find something new (or something I had forgotten about) and saw this... the only reason I gave it a chance was the rating was so high for it and I understand why! This show is great! Really, anything that brings something new to the genre at this point is worth watching and this was a brilliant spoof of Reno 911... with monsters. the relationship between billy and Joe was hilarious. the inappropriate Captain and his relationship with Kirsten (or gerstin) was painful but funny. Several touches of the original "Police Squad" in here too... A great show that I wish could have lasted longer but I glad to have found what I did.

By the way, why do some people keep saying that this is a rip-off of "True Blood"? Have they never seen the show? Have they never seen "Reno 911"? Am I the only person who is about to strangle the next person I meet who uses the term 'rip-off' or 'jumped the shark' when they are totally out of context?
