From what's being said It wont be picked up for a second season due to low ratings. Hopefully It's just speculation, I haven't found any official word on the matter ATM.

for it would have helped. I only happened to stumble onto it via late-night
channel-surfing. Never even heard of it before. Kind of surprised it would
be on MTV to be honest. Think if it were carried on a network like COMEDY or
SyFy maybe it might have gotten more marketing...

Thanks for the great news, garn!!! I wonder if the release of season 1 DVD sales at Amazon had anything to do with the decision? Both the news and the DVD make a great Christmas present.

Well, that sucks out loud! Not that I didn't expect it. What was the point of that season 2 Twitter posting back in December? Optimism?
It would be nice to think that someone like Comedy Central would have the foresight to pick the show up. Oh right, probably not comedy enough. Hey! How about Chiller? Wait they're owned by SyFy and have generally sucked for the past few years. Oh well.
I'd follow this show wherever it went but it looks like the end of the road, folks. And that's a real shame.

shareSo sad to see no season two ... I loved this show ... me and husband thought it was fantastic and couldn't wait for more. Its about the only thing on MTV I would watch. Oh well I guess they will go back to their reality BS and I'll go back to watching anything but.
shareI love Zombie stuff but didn't think I would like this comedy series but loved it right from episode 1.
Don't know how I didn't hear about this sooner and wished they had done another series, I only saw it listed when I checked out what else Caity Lotz had done after seeing her in Arrow.
Great characters, lots of fun and banter and plenty of action. Maybe even make a movie if they are not going to make another series. :)
