Great movie.

Don't pay any attention to that low rating. This is a solid family film.

Yah! I don't get how it didn't garner more positive response. I loved it!! Not sure how I missed it last year. I couldn't believe the "star" line-up. Harry Connick Jr. was excellent in his role, but then I love him anyway. But Gosh! He was good!! And Kris K!! I always love seeing! A national treasure to me!!!
Makes me want to see "A Star is Born" again!! I will be buying the DVD of this so my grand daughter will see it in a couple years, and many years thereafter!!

I am a corny Christmas movie junkie and I don't know how I missed this one last year. I loved it. Had a good message and a great cast. Much better than many of the newer ones.

My sentiments exactly!! And how I missed this last year is beyond me!! Now, Feb, and I still have it on DVR--watching again today!! What a cast!!! 10! 10! 10! Only because there is no 11 or 12!!

One thing I love about it the most is that I used to live in Austin and used to go see the Outlaws sing when I was in my teens. I've seen both Willie and Waylon many times - so much fun. If you ever go to the Austin area, you have to go to The Salt Lick. It is one of the very best BBQ joints anywhere. This is a really sweet movie, about human truths, sadness and redemption, and the hope of the Christmas season. It is just pure so of course some cynical people will just mock it to show how sophisticated they are; I don't mind them, I was like that when I was young, too. But their jaded attitude shouldn't keep you for enjoying this film. It's a Christmas gift to yourself.

I agree. Very good movie. Could've been a little stronger with some tone changes but still very good.
