I know most of it is not funny but what was funny was each of the neighbors showing up at the Walker's door singing to them and dropping off decorations. That and the fact that Nick "failed" to tell Michael why he was pushing the mansion off on him and what was going to happen. He was way too eager to sell it to him cheap, even Michael's wife was skeptical.
The part where I really couldn't stop laughing is when Michael is trying to get coffee and the server kept trying to buy Christmas themed drinks and then the news came on talking about Michael being the town's Grinch. The server exclaims laughing, "hey dude, that's you!"

I'm guessing you missed that Nick is supposed to be St. Nick? Ya know, Santa Claus? It was his attempt to get him back into the Christmas spirit.

Actually, detroit, I'm guessing you missed that Nick had angel wings painted on the back of his leather jacket when he turned to leave in his final scene in the movie. This lead me to believe he was an angel.

He definitely is an angel. The family really needed a home and one was open for them. Willie completely disappeared until he was needed again and, yes, the wings at the end of the movie. But I'll give Santa a nod with the Nick. Remember that Santa is St. Nicholas - a Christian Saint who helped the poor, so that points back to heaven as well. I do pray the angels will be with everyone who sees this movie and that they'll know the Christmas spirit lasts all year, if you want.

Also, in the old movie being shown at the end, Nick is the Santa Claus.
