What is up with the re-edit?

I'm speaking of the "Turbo" version that recently replaced the original version. The new version changes the pacing drastically and cuts out most of the best scenes with Kung-Fu Guy, as well as many other great scenes. Some of the edits are extremely sloppy, many cutting off dialogue in mid-sentence (or, in extreme cases, mid-word).

I can understand it if the filmmakers were unhappy with the first cut and felt they could do better, but why remove all existence of the original cut. Also, the new cut is significantly worse in quality - it looks like an utter hack-job. Was there a lawsuit or did somebody complain about some of the jokes?

I have to agree. I loved every second of that series and I felt that every second was necessary. If they really feel like they need to "trim the fat" then by all means, they have the right to do so. But I wish they kept the original episodes on their website.

Regardless, I love what they do and I'm still hoping for a season 2. They did a teaser trailer like back in November, but I haven't heard anything since then.
