You know that wedding was not fun at all. Everybody's nerves were so strained. The best wedding I ever went to was at a local park underneath the shelter at night and the wedding was 100 percent on time. They didn't even ask for gifts just to donate to local charities instead. It was catered with an open bar and the bride and groom looked awesome. Everyone had the best time b/c we weren't exhausted from the wedding or having to put tons of effort into it. We could save all our energy to appreciate the couple and wish them the best.
...and it was probably a real wedding of two people in love, not like this nightmare.

No one says anything. Everyone is so scared to look like the bad guy when all they have to do is just bad-mouth her behind her back. Or people tolerate it b/c they they look forward to when it's their turn to be queen and they can be rude.

That sounds like a great wedding. I don't understand the point of huge displays except to outdo other people. If two people really love each other, it doesn't matter whether it's at city hall or at a park. The most beautiful ring I've ever seen was so tiny it looked like a balled up piece of tin foil but it was gorgeous because of the smile on the bride's face. She was so in love with her intended and so proud of her ring because it came from him, everything around her glowed. Adriana's fiasco was something from the depths of hell.
