who should host and where should they go

I have to admit I had higher hopes for this show during the run up to it's airing. Larry is occasionally humorous; but only occasionally. I have liked some of the places he has been and others not so much. This idea has potential but I'm not sure Larry is the best choice for a host. I do like the idea of showing off the unusual or offbeat or places of historic significance. So let me ask. If we could keep the show with a different host and send them where we wish; who and where?
