I have seen two episodes, and this is seriously dumb. First of all anything with Larry The Cable Guy is going to be dumb. Why do people find a guy from Nebraska who talks with a fake southern accent (he has admitted it's fake) entertaining? On the episode I saw today he was taking part in a Civil War reenactment, and his voiceover was getting all excited about the South winning the battle, and he made some sort of backhanded comment about Northerners that began with "Just like a Yankee..." I stopped listening after that because I was yelling "YOU'RE A YANKEE YOU IDIOT!!!"

History Channel has gone seriously downhill in recent years with all of it's reality shows and a good 50% of their programming these days being about UFO's, Ghosts, or cryptozoology, but this is an all new level of dumb.

So, Larry The Cable Guy is a character. That is what he is known for so why would he not use it on a tv show? So it should be Only in America with Daniel Lawrence Whitney? Here is a better title for your post: Dumb Comment = Dumb Post

Yanks/Southerners, The civil war was a 150 years ago. What the hell are you rambling about? The "backhanded" comment was soooo offensive. What a stupid topic. He was out there having fun with his character. Plain and simple. This really is a simple show but I think its way over your intelligence level.

We used to make sh-t in this country. Build sh-t. Now we put our hands in the next guys pocket.
