The BEST Space/Science Show!

And I've seen them all; from Cosmos to Origins to The Universe to everything else. There's just something about this show that's special.

One: I'll say that both Narrators Mike Rowe and Erik Dellums do a great job keeping up the pace of the show. It took me awhile to get used to Dellums, but he's grown on me because he seems to bring out the wonder of the universe, which I think is what the show is all about.

Two: The quality of the "experts" featured in HTUW is just perfect. You can't have a science show without Michio Kaku and they got him. Along with Kaku we've got like five other great space scientists(Thaller, Plait among them) who ALL do a great job explaining our universe. I think they seriously do emmy award work here, they're simply FANTASTIC and ENTHUSIASTIC about the subject matter.

Three: Explaining How the Universe Works!: They really do this, with outstanding descriptions and special effects that will blow your mind! It's amazing how well written, well explained, well thought out this show truly is. I know sometimes space can be boring to people, but this show is entertaining and educational for the whole audience. It's amazing how far TV has come in making science watchable.

Finally, like I mentioned in the beginning I've seen ALL the space shows since the 70's. Heck, Carl Sagan's COSMOS got me hooked on this stuff for life back in 1980. This one truly is the best and I'll say The Universe(a very similar show) is 2nd best. And guess what? Neil Degrasse Tyson is going to narrarate a brand new COSMOS next year!! This is truly the golden age of Space Science, thanks Sci Channel..and Discovery and History Channel!!

What happened to it? I just checked out Season 3 and it's dumbed down. I began watching this because I was tired of dumbed down series like The Universe :(

Season 4 is dumbed down even more. But for the present it's still the best space/science show.
