For the last few weeks now my DVR has been recording what it says are new episodes from season 5, like last night it said it was S5 Ep6 "The universe's greatest miracles" but when I went to play it that wasn't what the episode was, it was an episode that was a repeat, not a new episode, like I said it's been doing this for each of the last couple episodes that I can remember. So does anyone know whats going on?
shareYeah, it's confusing. They seem to be retitling the "expanded" editions, though they are essentially the same episode.
I've noticed:
"Edge of the Solar System (S4:Ep1 according to my DVR, S4:Ep4 according to Wiki*)"
....became "To Infinity and Beyond (S4:Ep12 per DVR)"
"How the Universe Built Your Car (S3:Ep10/S4:Ep1)"
.... became "Interstellar Motor Company (S4:Ep10)"
"Dawn of Life (S4:Ep5/S4:Ep5)"
...became "The Universe's Greatest Miracle (S4:Ep16)"
"Venus, Earth's Evil Twin (S4:Ep2) for some crazy reason HTUW calls this "Earth, Venus's Evil Twin""
...became "The Planet of Nightmares (S4:Ep9)"

Hate to think it's a cheap marketing ploy to slap a "New" tag on an episode so the DVR will grab it causing increased ratings, but yet to think of a better reason.
