Is this movie EVER going to be released ?
I've been watching the Chicago movie theater listings for the past several years, and I haven't seen it yet !
shareIt was released directly to DVD. No serious critic would praise this movie but I loved it. At least it came out before James Best died; I hope he was healthy enough to watch it.
shareJimmie enjoyed many festival screenings of the film. And he had a starring role in a movie for Hallmark (Sweeter Side of Life) two years later, as well as a stage play (On Golden Pond), and toured with a one man show until late 2014. Jimmie never stopped working, writing, painting, fishing and having fun; at the time he passed away we were writing a Civil War film based on one of his poems. His health was good throughout; he passed away after a very brief illness.
