Director leaves it vague intentionally. We fade out once she's in the street looking for Nader's father. You can interpret it in many ways. Some may even suggest she purposefully walks into traffic, etc. Her character was somewhat mysterious.

Surely if there had been an abortion, that would have been apparent to the doctors at the hospital? I can't imagine they could overlook that when examining the fetus.
