holy crap--it's filming already!

It's been casted and according to IMDumb it's already filming. That was a surprise. They only have 7 actors listed so far, and 6 characters. One of the "actors" in the cast is...brace yourselves...Marilyn Manson, and he has no character name listed. Please, please! don't let him be who is playing Randall Flagg. Everyone else in the cast I can see as the character they will be playing, but if they cast a rock "star" with no acting experience as the ultimate bad guy this is going to have one monumental strike against it from the very beginning.

EDIT: Update on filming, according to other posts on web it hasn't started shooting yet, production is scheduled to begin on September 16th. More of the cast info should be turning up before then.

He might be the Larry Underwood character. I suppose that would make the most sense. Hopefully it will just be a minor character like the Bring Out Your Dead guy.

I was thinking “Bring Out Your Dead” guy aka “Monster Shouter” as well. I couldn’t see him being cast in a roll any bigger. Has it been confirmed or just rumored that he is part of the cast? Seems odd they wouldn’t announce his role if it’s a main character.
