in a television drama I have ever seen, and I've seen a few. When you look at his portfolio, it's a stunning, terrifying but compelling performance. Those who watch this state-side will not appreciate how rare it is for the main-stream British channel ITV, known for appalling 'news' programmes and lowest-common-denominator television, to make something as edgy as this. Kudos to them that they did.

His acting was amazing dare I say. He really did look deep and researched the life of Fred West with a fine toothcomb.
