BIGG ASS SPIDER
Pardon me for asking but is this film a remake of the 1950s Horrow Film Tarantula,which was also a spider that escaped from a laboroty and grew to giant size.

I was thinking that too. There has 2 be some sort of connection. Only Tarantula was set in a small town.
