The plot summary is misleading cause if you expect bloodbaths from beginning to end then rather watch one of these shock-slaughter-scream-movies.

Since the name of the hungarian serial killer Bela Kiss doesn't mean beautiful kiss, you have to wait a "little" for the gore. The surname of this handsome creepy womanizer means "little".

It was a nice idea to weave the serial-killer-story with the bank-robbery-plot.
Though you'll nearly get his complete butcherly biography, it was neither about the serial killer nor the bank robbers.
All this without any government film subsidy!
Movies easily turn into honeyed heartbreaker morality if financed with government money.
The dialogues in this movie are definitely not honeyed, alas sometimes clumsy...with an international touch.
What are the Tommies doing there?
However...thank you very much cause it's longer ago that I saw a VW bulli.
A bulli is qualified for an outside party only with an independent vehicle heater.
Perhaps such a heater would've drowned merciful the last marrowy sentences.
Sometimes less is more.

Bela Kiss Prologue is for fans of sneaking up crawlies who enjoy an eerie european atmosphere....and who can wait to reap the blood-award.
