another series soon?

Just saw a trailer on the BBC for the second series of this.
Despite being Scottish and loving crime drama I could not be bothered to watch all the first series, too many cliches and an uninteresting story.

I'm watching it right now. Not too bad - the lead actress isn't very good - but David Morrissey is making it for me! Katherine Kelly is pretty good too.

Time flies like the wind - and fruit flies like bananas!

The lead actress is the main reason I'm watching it (she's very cute), and I think her acting is fine too.

I cannot remember the first series but the second series is decent enough.

Its that man again!!

The first series was better but I hope there is a series 3, it feels quite original and is enjoyable to watch, I like the lead being young and a low rank, makes it a bit different from the usual crime drama.

I like the Scotland-lite setting too, actually anywhere in the north is enjoyable over the million and one crime dramas set in the south!

Speaking of which... when is Vera coming back...

Have watched on Acorn website streaming Vera 4--in the US--don't know how that works for you...
loved it--only 4 shows (90 min each) so went very fast for me...

Re Field of Blood--
I am also watching that on Acorn Streaming and there are 4 episodes labeled Season 1 Part 1 and Part 2 and Season 2 Parts 1 and 2

how far apart were they televised on BBC originally?
since it runs one story line (the child murders) through 4 episodes would have been horrible not to have had the ending within short time...

"...That's the beauty of argument, Joey. If you argue correctly, you're never wrong..."
