Restricted to Scotland only

According to the Radio Times in reply to questions about this critically acclaimed short series, a 'spokesperson' for the BBC stated that there are no plans to show in nationally.

What part 'exactly' of the first letter of the BBC is no longer 'British'. Someone also needs to go read up on their Charter - 'they' use it to justify the annual embarrassment that is 'A Song for Europe' but not for this 'Dis-United Kingdom'

"Heid's should roll, Jimmy!"

Well, fortunately for the rest of us, it's available online. I've read the book, and am interested to check out the series.

Take that, BBC!

reply

Indeed, especially for people outside the UK altogether.

It's on DVD now, region 2. I hope they do the next two books in the series.

reply

It was shown nationally in the last week of August and the first week of September.

And for anyone else who saw it, how ridiculous was it that the script kept making fun of the lead girl, Paddy's, weight? Not only was she not especially overweight, Jayd Johnson is gorgeous.

reply

It's on BBC1. Also on iPlayer

I'm watching it in Arizona via Acorn streaming.

reply

I too am watching on Acorn Streaming but find the way they numbered the episodes so strange...

"...That's the beauty of argument, Joey. If you argue correctly, you're never wrong..."

reply

Does Acorn streaming provide subtitles? (I'm addicted)

reply

Been a while--didn't remember since some of Acorn's streaming has no CC so I looked again
Field of Blood--both seasons--does...

"...That's the beauty of argument, Joey. If you argue correctly, you're never wrong..."

reply
