That "chastity bono looking dude with something about mary hair" is one of the most respected tattoo artists in the tattoo world, eclipsing any of the judges or artists on ink master.

IS he talking about Joe Capobianco? I see no resemblance to Chastity Bono or even Chaz Bono.....

Ink Master is much better in terms of quality of production though, has a much more tattooesque vibe.
I've watched all seasons of Ink Master and only the last season of Best Ink. My personal opinion of the two is that I prefer the professionalism seen in Best Ink. Ink Master seems to have become more and more about the drama between the artists than the tattoo's themselves.
Some people like that. I find it distracting and adding nothing to the work done by the artists. I much preferred the camaraderie and professionalism shown in Best Ink. There's enough TV out there with over-dramatic primadona's. No need to ruin a good show with bickering. It should just be about the ink, the artists, etc.
