For everyone who doesn't get the ending *SPOILER of ending*

Everything after the scene in the kitchen is the start of one of her nightmares.

So the phone starts ringing----they are fighting---the whole thing with Dani almost sending it, and then it being sent, and the inspector seeing it on his phone and looking up right before Christine attempts to choke Isabelle with the bloody scarf that was already in evidence at the police station----that was all apart of the dream.

I'll explain:

Remember when they were in the kitchen, and talking and laughing and Isabelle said "And then Inspector Bach pathetically came to my house with flowers to apologize. I threw them in the trash."

Then she starts having the nightmare, beginning with the funeral. Seeing the "twin" (who probably wasn't real to begin with) in the green shoes which represent the fashion show they were at (the shoes wouldn't have been available to buy yet. Giving the audience a hint that this may not be real if you pay close attention)

So the whole thing with the Inspector being there while she is indeed killing Dani (the ringing of the untraceable phone in the dream was her panic of being found out) How could it ring if its untraceable? Just a disposable phone? And why would the inspector be there super late with flowers, continuing to knock as such an unreasonable hour not waking anyone else up, apologizing a second time? If you go back to the funeral scene: He says at the funeral "I never got a chance to apologize to her."
Ummmmmm yes he did--- because in the kitchen, she told the story about how he already tried to and gave her flowers. Remember? Another hint that funeral sequence wasn't real.

The only real thing that happened at the end was what they didn't show (instead they showed her nightmare) All that happened is Isabelle wanted to just destroy the phone or delete the videos so she wasn't Dani's slave anymore and get her freedom back with no blackmail looming. So she probably snuck to the phone that night, Dani caught her, and they fought, and Isabelle snapped again and killed someone else.

So she wakes up (the funeral, the ringing, the inspector with the flowers, Christine with the bloody scarf almost killing her) This was all the nightmare. She wakes up to reality. That she had killed Dani after probably deleting the evidence and going back to bed.

But she's screwed, because she killed someone else, and has absolutely no alibi or lack of evidence this time. So ultimately both her and Christine get screwed over in this entire thing. And Dani and Dirk as well. Everyone falls. Isabelle just falls last.

Thanks, that was great :)

Thank you. It seemed a bit faux Hitchcockian at the end and it wasn't clear what was real and what was a dream.
