No, it is not a real movie. It is a music video. Sorry to crush your hopes of seeing Sean Patrick Flanery on the big screen again. The "trailer" is all there is.

reply

I hope your kidding, cuz that would be a F-ing waste!

Sorry man! It's The Black Keys. This was a genius move on their part in my opinion. Great publicity. It's for their song Howlin' for You (obviously). The stuffed dinosaur at the beginning is from their video for another song called Next Girl. And they are the two guys the girl has loved before... Las Teclas de Negro (get it? Spanish for: The Black Keys).

I had this song on my ipod before I saw this, and really liked it. But after hearing all this crap I cant help but hate it!

It's actually a genius marketing ploy whether you hate it
or not.

I disagree. Cheap gimmicks always backfire because it shows that people have no confidence in the product itself. Just look at all the responses. People are completely turned off by how boring the content is and how pointless the whole exercise of making the trailer is. Maybe it would be worth actually writing a good song which appeals to people rather than using cheap gimmicks which never work.

I disagree with that sentiment completely. I found it rather creative at drumming up interest for their song and not knowing how you stand, I think it really takes someone who has an interest in grindhouse to really appreciate the trailer.
