WTF did I just watch?
Got to say it looks intriguing and all but what exactly is this, a movie or a music video or just a screw around like one of those Grindhouse trailers.

shareI have no idea either, haha.
I might be interested, but it seems kind of corny, and like a music video, indeed.
"Why would anyone steal a doorknob?"
"There are some nice doorknobs."
Its just a video for the Black Keys song Howlin' For You. I really wish it was a movie though, looks pretty badass.
shareWhy does the guy have a full review of the movie and saying it's over 3 hours long. Maybe he was just lying. This looks like it's a full movie to me.
shareThe official listed run time is 3 minutes so I am thinking it is a what if movie trailer. An it is listed as a TV movie. So Viral marketing much Mr. Writer Director.
shareThe review is completely tongue-in-cheek. It might even have been written by one of the guys that did this video.
The last scenes with the guys with weapons coming out of their guitar cases is a direct sendup of _El Mariachi_ and _Desperado_.
Pause and read the credits frame that comes up near the very end. It says it's a "NONESUCH film".
What I want to know is how did they get so many fairly well known people to do this? What a production! Love it.
shareProbably with money.
shareIt's the black keys. nuff said they are legit enough that enough of the well known people in the video are more than likely fans.
"STAND STRONG, RISE ABOVE"
I didn't realize it was a music video for the Black Keys until I read some one else's post. At first, I thought to myself "This looks horrible." I watched it again after knowing it was a music video and it is in fact awesome.
