Regions don't even matter any more with programs and stuff that let you watch any region on any equipment for free and legal. Some media players like VLC automatically bypass regions of dvd and blu-ray.
With a simple cheap cable you can even watch that DVD on your big TV. Now add that any movie releeased in Europe is Region 2 anyway...

Frankly, it no longer matters which country released the movie or didn't - it can be watch and enjoyed at home anywhere in the world. And entirely legally, I hasten to add. If you don't care about the legality it's even easier with torrents.
