Dax needs to find out that Violet is a traitor -SPOILER

he's been sleeping w/the enemy/she-devil -- the bitch just shot my man Giancarlo, damn I hope he lives (he's still breathing but Violet could easily kill him if he's ever alone) -- she sure is trying to cover her tracks - blaming everything on Becca ! The bitch took down 2 ppl in the first 3 minutes of the show. I hope Becca is the ONE who blows her brains out, and that goes for Martin as well--- that SOB.

Oh *beep* great my man Giancarlo died --- NOW Violet needs to die a horrible death; this pisses me off. I was hoping that maybe they faked his death somehow, but just my wishful thinking !! Damn - I'm pissed and seem to be the only one on the boards tonight. (lol) Hello anybody here?

reply

Woo hoo never mind Giancarlo Rossi LIVES :) And the bitch Violet is gone DOWN DOWN DOWN !!! Way to go Dax -- you caught on - smart move.

reply

I was so glad that Dax figured out that Violet was the traitor.

reply

I was like its about time, I can't stand Violet - from the very beginning, I thought she was a bitch.

reply

Geez! don't you wait until the end of the episode to see what happens?!

But I agree with you. When Dax said Giancarlo died, the whole show seemed to end for me. And then he turns around and tells Violet "you TRIED to kill him" I was about to jump up and start dancing :)

Anyway I think Becca should be with Giancarlo who actually loves her, instead of Paul who fake-blew himself up in front of their kid!! Who does that?!

reply

Howndid they save Rossi's life in time do you think Agents saw a video clip whst's Viloet did a d saved him in time

There was probably an alarm on the morphine drip -- no -- on his heart rate, which probably slowed to a dangerously low level -- so when the alarm sounded, they looked at the speed of the drip and countered his reaction with something else.

I nearly died when that B1tch shot him after he put his gun on the ground. thank goodness Dax was on to Violet.

I really (the romantic in me) want Becca and Giancarlo to end up together.

We have to wait and see

I am so glad that she was found out and now hopefully Martin will go down.

How is she linked to Martin?

reply

Don't know yet hopefully they will explain that before the show is cancelled.

reply

We never got to see if she left with Giancarlo though, right? That sucked. Man, that guy scored some decent loyalty and romance points. :)

"There was probably an alarm on the morphine drip -- no -- on his heart rate, which probably slowed to a dangerously low level -- so when the alarm sounded, they looked at the speed of the drip and countered his reaction with something else."

Morphine is, in the world of psychopharmacology, a relatively simple alkaloid (drug) with predictable and fairly consistent effects. It only targets the Mu, Kappa, and Delta opioid receptors (brain/spinal cord) in terms of how it exerts its analgesic effect. It does have a host of other effects, which vary from person to person in terms of both occurrence and severity, which is why many/most hospitals are now using hydromorphone as a first-line narcotic analgesic for intravenous use (Demerol is being phased out due to neurotoxicity).
When a person overdoses on an opiate (there are very few exceptions), including morphine, it is not the heart that stops, but rather the breathing. Opiates have a "top-down" effect, in that they affect the highest-developed regions of the brain (PFC/FC/etc), but given enough they will begin to exert their effect on the brain stem, sending the person into respiratory arrest or failure.

The patient's O2 levels would have plummeted almost immediately, his heart rate would have first spiked before falling slowly and steadily, and alarms would be going off everywhere.
The chances of his heart stopping before causation was realized are fairly small, as any competent physician/nurse would see the WAY TOO HIGH levels on the IV, and immediately introduce nalaxone ("Narcan"), an extraordinarily potent opiate antagonist that is a wonder drug in terms of fighting overdose deaths.

reply

yes. indeed. either way, too little, too late.

not only is the patient dead, but so is the show.

reply

I'm hoping that Becca gets back together with Paul. In fact I think that's one of the things that's wrong with the show. It should have a different title and the family should get together sooner. Becca doubting Paul for so long seems strange, given what they'd been through together. Why would you believe what strangers said about your husband, whether he faked his death or not?

reply

Strange coincidence? Violet has an uncanny resemblance to that girl in "Don't Trust the B in Apt 23".

It said season Finale
