Who pays for all this?

I would guess that it is funded by Lowe's and several other merchants who are prominently featured in the shows.

It's a good question. Apparently, apart from shoddy work, Love it or List It got sued for using a portion a the homeowners' Reno budget to cover production costs, ie pay the salaries of the hosts and HGTV camera crew, plus insurance etc. Which would explain why Hillary can never ever complete a wish list no matter how much money is thrown at her.

Who knows maybe it's HGTV policy.
