Pleasant, touching

I liked this one. It featured interesting cinematography focusing on the German countryside and a farm intern training program, AND two attractive young men who made a sexy couple. And wouldn't you know it? The actors, of course, were straight.

It may seem as though their homosexuality came out of nowhere, but this is very honest, I think. When young men have some feelings for each other it eventually plays out. Not all such events end as pleasantly as this one. The final scene was touching - a firm embrace and a long, long hug. These two guys both found each other, and that closing affirmation of their newly-forged friendship was very touching. Gave it an "8" for an uplifting matinee performance... with compliments to the Director (who IS gay and cute, too!)
