I'll expose my take on the subject...
-Kenan says at some point in the movie that he promised to take care of Ramazan.
-Ramazan confessed rather vaguely that he was responsible for Yasar's death.
-Yasar was found hog tied and with his pants down and no underwear, to what an officer comments, "he was going around ready for action".
-Kenan isn't pictured as a bad person but rather an unfortunate soul who is used to suffer in silence.
-Yasar was buried alive, Kenan assumed that he died when he was hit in the head and passed out obviously.
-Kenan is asked why he tied Yasar in such a way, and he replies... "he didn't fit in the trunk", such intricate or complicated ropework isn't used for such simple tasks.
Revising the entrance scene I notice that all 3 of them are having some time together, something that doesn't look out of the ordinary, definitely not the first time... indicating that they have been doing this as friends for some time now.
Now, call me sick, but this is how I put it all together.
After drinking Raki, Kenan fell asleep and Yasar started to abuse Ramazan (something that perhaps had been happening for some time), considering that he was hogtied in a way that is used for "auto erotic stimulation" (http://www.boundanna.com/html/en_tech_alternativehogtie.html), he was perhaps using the "help" of Ramazan when Kenan discovers this.
In the heat of the moment Kenan hit Yasar in the head and thought to have actually killed him, then tried to bury him to escape from prosecution... however guilt wouldn't allow him to carry on and decided to give himself up, throughout the movie, perhaps, we can see how he was afraid of seeing what he did, or it could be, as mentioned earlier, he was ready to confess for a crime he didn't commit after seeing that beautiful girl handing the tea... to which I don't see much use since he had already confessed he committed a crime and never denied it, they were looking for a body, but even if they didn't find the body the person would be missing.
If we put all the pieces together I think that explains the WHY to the crime. Please comment on how wrong I am!
