Why the picture of the director instead of that beautiful poster?

There is a poster of this movie which a man stands under a tree, grey clouds in the air. One of the most beautiful posters I have ever seen!

Why they haven't put that beautiful poster but put a picture of the director instead?

It would advertise our movie better I think.
