the dog, the coke, the girl

The same dog appears at the beginning of the movie, when the victim feeds him, and later on when they found him, lying next to his dead body, with his ripped chain.

In the first scene of the movie Kenan's brother drinks canned coke, and when the girl serves the tea, all out of nowhere she gives him a can of coke. Everyone else drinks tea but he was given the coke even without asking for it.

The girl as a symbol of suicide wife (the prosecutor), ex-girlfriend (the doctor), victim (Kenan's brother), victim's wife and son (Kenan). Also, during the tea scene Kenan sees victim drinking tea and then trying to take breath (in the end we find out that he died of suffocating).

I find this very intriguing symbolism.

The victim was in all likeliness, the owner of the dog.

Kenan's brother, did in fact ask for coke in that gathering, earlier, it was a slight outburst that caused Naci to look around in disdain, so when the girl brought the drinks, she had simply taken heed of his request.
