Karen and Britany were banned from the wake

Their family wasn't too crazy about Karen and Brittany, I bet. It has to do with the history of their individual families. Karen and Brittany are liked only by a select few people on Staten Island. Most families from the Mafia want them gone from NY forever. People think that Karen is liked by EVERYONE in the Mob but that's not the case. Her behavior alone makes her unappealing but the history of her father is what stings everyone. Brittany's father is no different, that's why "Mob Wives" inaccurately portrays a reality that is the Lifestyle. I remember reading a tweet by Janine Detore after Season 5 finished airing. She said Karen walked into Big Ang's bar and called her a rat. Notice how in-between seasons she creates drama that could parlay into the show? Janine's family probably thought she would capitalize on the funeral and wake by doing a spin-off show incorporating video recordings of the events into an episode.

I saw it reported that Karen was banned, then I saw a picture of her standing next to Renee as Ang's coffin was brought into the funeral home. I will see if I can find a link.
