It could have had a longer run had it been on cable.

Yes, and it could have been better on cable.

I think broadcast TV didn't allow for a level of depth and complexity that the subject deserved. And the spy plot line was a little silly.

I really looked forward to watching this show. It was cancelled too soon.

However the women were never given truly distinct personalities. They were basically stereotypes. The acting was good, the writing only so-so.

Good points. The writing would have been so much better on AMC.
