Weapons are messed up


I was going over some of their weapons and they are fvcked. Just to name a few they have the SCAR having a 3 round burst only and an M16 being single shot only.

I’m really looking forward to this game, but if this is any indication of the amount of effort that went into it, I won’t be buying it. There is no excuse for this kind of ignorance that a 30 second glance at a wikipedia page could set right.

I’m hoping this was just a mistake on the part of the people that made their website because the rest of this game looks awesome.

Most advanced weapons can be manually set to short and single burst shots.

My guess is that the designers wanted to establish an environment based on resistance fighters trying to conserve ammo and stretch out resources.

I would bet the SCAR and M16 are your most accurate weapons, other than the occassional sniper with 4 or 5 rounds - whereas the enemy AI weapons likely have lots of clips, high fire rate, but low impact damage.

I'm also excited by this game and love it's real life connection to Red Dawn.

They should call it a civilian AR-15 or something. They shouldn’t call in an M-16 if it is only capable of single fire. A mistake like that can be forgiven in a game like Condemned (where there isn’t a huge focus on firearms and firefights). Not for a game a like this.
