It's such a relief to see someone addressing real problems facing adolescent girls. Having been a cutter, on the edge of suicide, and currently battling my eating disorder again, having her not only address them in the music but in the video itself is huge for me. I cried my eyes out the first time I saw it, just to see my struggles honored instead of swept under the rug.
shareI love this song and once I saw the video, I loved it more. Pink is just awesome. She brings real world problem out in the open in her videos. The video is sad, emotional, shocking, and fulfilling in its message. Bravo to Pink.
My only question is what isn't Tina Majorino credited as a cast in this video? She did an incredible job acting in this and should definitely have her name up there. It's good to see her do some strong adult rolls. Even though this is just a music video and shows a lot of emotion, pain, anger, suffering and depression and Tina shows it all without saying a word. Great job.
