Did this project just die or what? It's 2012 and I haven't heard anything on when the remaining 21 episodes will be released. Has anybody heard anything?

I can probably guess, this probably had poor DVD/Blu-Ray sales in comparison with the show so they scrapped it. Good riddance too, I HATE comics being "lifted to animation." I like animated movies based on comics but not when comics are animated with virtually NO difference to the source material. If I wanted the Buffy comics I would've gone to my local comic book store and bought them(which I have so this was "a waste of money").

I would have liked another volume of the motion comics. My biggest problem with them wasn't the animation, but the voice acting. It was like the actors didn't even understand the dialogue, how it was supposed to be pronounced. It was awkward.
