You went to Wikipedia, looked up Godwin's Law and found a reference to Poe's Law in the link for internet adages and found one that you felt would save your prior post from looking like goofy hyperbole. Good show, sir!

Yes, goofy hyperbole, exactly. This is the opposite of what you are implying.

Hyperbole means my post was not seriously suggesting the topic creator was a Nazi.

It seems no one knows what troll means anymore. Just because you disagree or are offended/bothered by someone's comments does not make them a troll.

No. YOU don’t know what it means. Let’s take a look at what the internet’s definition of “troll” is:

...have you looked at this guy’s posts? He spends most of his time trying to disrespect black people, Mexicans, AND women. If you don’t think this is trolling then you are most likely one too.

This is where your confusion lays. You ASSUME he is just posting those things to bother people. This may come as a shock to you, so you may want to prepare yourself:

People have different opinions and ideas, many of which you might find abhorrent or stupid, but that does not mean they are saying it with "intent of provoking readers into an emotional response[2] or of otherwise disrupting normal, on-topic discussion,[3] often for the troll's amusement."

If I were to use your interpretation of troll, that would make you one, since I find it absurd and stupid that anyone could fail to comprehend such a simple concept. Only a troll would say something that dumb.
