Do people like that really exist?

Do people like Simon really exist? Not being able to put 2 words together, always sweating, shaking, eyes down all the time, so damn annoying that they are basically asking to get punched in the face?

reply

Yes, they do! They're shy and a bit sensitive....and they often come off as weirdos in public. But you cant blame them to be different than the rest. People like Simon have a specific skill set which are under appreciated and frauds tend to take advantage of their weakness and use it to an extent of their will. I do pity Simon for not being brave enough to stand up against people like that.

I do exist, right? So more people like me have to exist too. Many more, I would think. We are too sensitive for this world, I'm afraid. Or too cowardly as people like you would call us.

reply

yes. there is at least 1 person in every small group. ill estimate it as 1 of 20.
those people who just wake up - go to the place they go every day - go home - sleep - wake up - and so on and on.
i think people who act like that, like a machine, will eventually become one.

there are people like James, who are very lively. people that everyone knows their name and face. or at least heard of.
two examples are Ferris Bueller and Cameron "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".

reply

Yes, you just described Jesse Eisenberg... minus the wanting to punch him in the face part.

Wow, so much insensitivity--classic bully response. That's what's wrong with the world--lack of compassion toward those who are different or struggling.

I'm glad I am not the only one who sees this problem in our world, today.

I'm sure you've met a few in your time. Check under your shoe. There might still be some trace evidence

If you want to know what it's like to be an introvert, just imagine the beginning of this film before the double shows up going on forever.

People like that do exist. They tend to be bullied(either at school during their younger years) or sometimes in the workplace. They do however, excel at a specific skillset - either things like words, numbers or computers.
