Anyone else thinks this about the ending? (SPOILERS)
I was kind of sure that it was an infinite loop:
Simon suicides, making it look like James did, so James becomes Simon, then another James appears and so on and on and on and on....
He didn't really suicide. He called it in first, so the ambulance would be there right away, then jumped via the awning-thingie, to injure himself potentially fatally. He'll be saved by the medics, but James dies, because they share injuries (as shown by the knife wound.) He takes James' place.
But maybe he'll someday become the James to another Simon. =)
