Easily one of the worst movies I've ever seen...

It's even worse than 'Snowpiercer' which is almost impossible to do.

I actually finished watching that pablum but didn't get past the 24 minute mark of this snore festival.

reply

It wasn't much more than a mash up of Gilliam and Lynch, but I enjoyed it. I really liked the directing. I didn't care for Snowpiercer though.

Procrastination fools you into thinking you succeed merely by not failing.

reply

I got 15 minutes in, at which point I realized that the tedium & annoying acting this film had to offer was less appealing than watching my newly cut lawn re-grow.

reply

You should have kept watching.

reply

I did watch the whole thing. Can you explain why you think the previous poster should have kept watching? Not snarky, I'm serious.

reply

Because it got more interesting later? And seriously, quitting after 15 minutes is kinda dumb for any movie.

reply

What are you talking about? Any movie? There are lots of movies where quitting early is the smartest possible choice you could make.

reply

quitting after 15 minutes is kinda dumb for any movie.

its kinda smart. saves you 2 hours of time and no more "gimme my 2 hours back"

I gave Trasnformers 3 a shot. Quit it within 15 minutes. Saved myself some time and misery.

reply

But you don't know that, rather you assume that. Had I quit 15 minutes into numerous films that hadn't grabbed me yet I would have not seen several of my favourite films.

LOL! The very fact that you "gave Trasnformers 3 a shot" says everything. There are a few roads you should just know not to take. But watching something or reading something that requires some effort or isn't like everything else you've ever seen CAN be a required taste. For me, it paid in spades. I just watched this movie and loved it.

I like to give positive reviews but I have to say I disliked this movie; it was cold and very long winded.

reply

Cold and long-winded? Welcome to Russian literature! ;)

On this board, there seems to be a positive correlation between people saying this is a rubbish film and people saying they didn't even watch half of the film.

"God, when I meet you, I'm gonna be pretty. If it's the last thing I do. I'll be a beautiful angel."

reply

watched the whole thing. did not like

reply

yeah well of course it's no the common made in USA usual piece of ***** so it can be disturbing to some people.
I understand people will love it or hate it. You need to watch it with brain turn on and that can be tricky. It's a film that needs efforts from the viewer . it's not entertainment it's closer to art. Sure it's not the best of the best . Still I like the main actor. he is usually involved in good movies.

reply

To some a dog terd on the sidewalk is considered art. It's still a dog terd.

Its story, lead actor, cinematography, etc makes anything with Adam Sandler in it look like Ingmar Bergman.

The only reason why this is enojoyed by anyone is if they think its cool to like anything that most people wouldn't like no matter how insane it is.

Nothing in this movie made sense. Besides being awkward on all fronts. And some parts for a brief second seem to be edited out of synch and then it jumps back. All most like a very bad and frightening déjà vu while being water boarded.

You sound like a shallow, boring idiot.

Having an opinion can save your life. Just ask Marvin.

I woke up in time to see him handcuffing himself to the bed.

If only I could have napped another 15 minutes

reply
