I thought the songs and choreography were really coming together for the musical they were working on. Seems somebody could use that stuff as basis for an actual musical about Marilyn.

shareThere is going to be a one-night-only benefit of "Bombshell." It seems very likely Megan Hilty will be participating (yay!). Sometime in June, I believe.
It would need a lot of reworking for a real production, though - the vocal demands on "Marilyn" would be impossible to sustain for 8 performances a week (this has been noted by Shaiman & Wittman as well as Megan Hilty).
