I love good cop shows but have pretty much burned through them all. I'm also a paramedic who worked out of NYC so I'm passionate about the portrayal of first responders.
My favorite cop shows are:
-Third Watch
-SVU
-Blue Bloods
-Rookie Blue
-Chicago PD/Chicago Fire
So, would this show be worth watching?

I enjoy cop shows too and am binge watching Blue Bloods right now. Plan on checking out NYC 22 also. Another good one is Southland if you have not already checked that one out.
shareI think it is worth the time IMO. I classify this series in the "Cancelled too soon" category as it had a lot of hope, but either the ratings or other forces caused it to be canned at 13 episodes.
Solid characters that you want to know more about.. Great story lines and not a dull procedural type of show (not saying that procedurals are dull.. but some can go that way easily..)
Anyways, at 13 episodes it is a great weekend watch and worth the investment.
